These Terms and Conditions govern your use of suma.ventures and your engagement with Suma's services.

Suma provides the following services:

• Executive placement: introducing fractional and full-time executives to consumer startups
• Investor introductions: introducing founders to investors relevant to their fundraising
• Hiring advisory: advising consumer startup founders on executive hiring decisions

Separate written agreements govern the specific terms of any placement or introduction engagement. These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Suma website and your initial engagement with Suma prior to any formal agreement being in place.

Submitting a form, booking a call, or making an enquiry does not constitute an engagement and does not guarantee that Suma will work with you. Suma reserves the right to decline any enquiry at its discretion.

Suma makes no guarantee that any introduction, whether to a candidate or an investor, will result in a placement, investment, or other outcome.

Suma's fees are success-based. No fees are charged for initial calls or consultations.

For placement services, fees are payable on the successful appointment of a candidate as set out in the relevant Terms of Business agreed in writing between Suma and the client.

For investor introductions, fees are payable when an introduction leads to investment as set out in the relevant Investor Introduction Agreement agreed in writing between Suma and the company.

No fees are payable by candidates submitting their details via the website.

Where a placement does not work out within the first six months for reasons relating to the candidate's performance or conduct, Suma will use reasonable endeavours to find a suitable replacement candidate at no additional placement fee. This is subject to the original fee having been paid in full and Suma being notified of the termination within 14 days.

Any information shared with Suma in the course of an enquiry or engagement will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or where necessary to provide the service.

Candidate details shared with clients, and company details shared with investors, are done so only in the context of a specific introduction and on a confidential basis.

All content on suma.ventures, including text, design, and structure, is the property of Simon Cook trading as Suma Ventures. You may not reproduce or use any content from this website without prior written permission.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Suma's liability to you in connection with your use of this website or Suma's services is limited to the fees paid by you to Suma in respect of the relevant engagement.

Suma is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of this website or engagement with Suma's services.

This website may contain links to third party websites. Suma is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Any dispute arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
